Want to make your dog’s tail wag? Then take them to Canyon View Dog Park for some furrific canine fun! Dogs living in Grand Junction are lucky to have access to this off leash doggy play zone.  Since it’s right off Interstate 70, it’s the pawfect place to stop if you and your pooch are just passing through.
This puptacular dog park is located inside Canyon View
Park just north of the softball complex. At 3.2 acres, it has more than enough
room for your pup to run wild. Petite pups will be happy to know that there is
a separate section for small dogs and senior canines. It’s impawtant that all
the furry park patrons have the chance to play at their own pace. The fully
fenced area has two double gated entry points. Remember to unleash your pooch
prior to entering the off leash area.
Once their leash is off, your furry pal can romp
around to their heart’s content! They’ll have a blast zigzagging around the
field. Supervised visits to the dog park are a woofderful way to socialize your
pooch. Since this is a pupular park, they’ll have lots of four legged playmates
to wrestle with. Or, if they prefer, they can wander around on their own and
check out all the new smells.
During the summer the park has drinking water for the
canine visitors. If you happen to come during the off season, don’t forget to bring some
water. Also, do your part to keep the park free of doggy debris. Always pick up
after your pooch. When your pal is finished playing, clip on their leash and explore
the main area of Canyon View Park. With open fields, trails, and a lovely pond,
this park is a woofderful place for a walk.
Make no mistake, your furry friend will go mutts
over Canyon View Dog Park!
