After parking near a recreational lot of the larger Cayetano Park, you and Fido will enjoy pleasant views of rolling hills and grassy plains, backed by urban neighborhoods to the west. The dog park section is on the northeast corner of the park, marked by surrounding fences and clean surroundings. There's a small gated area that offers trash bins, a recycling bin, and a water fountain for dogs and humans that lead to two separate areas for pups. The first one is a small dog area, which offers nearly 7,800 square feet of open space made from wood shippings and concrete. The fenced-in area boasts benches, a fire hydrant, a few small trees, and clean-up stations for Fido.
The second area is much larger, with over 16,100 square feet to play in that allows any sized pup to roam free in. Just like the small pup area, this fenced-in encloser has a paved sitting area, with wood chips to play in, clean-up stations, and a fire hydrant for dogs to enjoy. Both areas are open and spacious with little obstacles. Fido can run around off-leash freely here, although if you need to use the restroom, you will have to travel into the larger park where your pup will need to be on a leash.Â
The landscape is gorgeous, the atmosphere is more than dog-friendly, and the amenities are well-kept and stocked throughout the year. You and your pup will be sure to fall in love with this pawrific dog park!
