This dog park has running water in the form of drinking fountains with some bowls at canine height. This water is available through the spring and summer months and gets turned off in the winter to prevent freezing. The entire Vista Meadows Dog Park is fenced in. The fence also splits the area into two sections, one for large canines and another for puppies and small breeds.
There is seating available at this park in the form of benches along the fence line. Some of these are placed near trees and in close enough proximity that they provide some shade to the seats during some hours of the day. Vista Meadows Park, the park that surrounds the dog park by the same name, comes out to a total of about six acres.
There are many amenities at this park there is not much within close proximity to the dog park. The dog park is located in the North East corner of this park. The dog park comes out to about an acre, which is a pretty good swath of land. You could play some long-range games like fetch or frisbee at this dog park provided you held back a little on your throws.
There is a decent amount of space here. Therefore, even large and highly energetic canines can get a good bit of exercise, and can really wear themselves out. There are no public restrooms here. Overall, the Vista Meadows Dog Park makes for a great dog park to bring your canine to kill a few hours!
