In total, the landmass of Caya Costa State Park comprises 2,426 acres of naturally landscaped grounds to explore. The lovely waters are home to many manatees and dolphins. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the ferry and in some areas of the property but must remain on leash.
Dogs are not permitted on beaches, on playgrounds, or in public buildings at any time. There is no designated dog play area at Caya Costa State Park, and there is no drinking water provided for canine use. Owners should bring bottled water and poop bags with them from home. Pet waste removal is the responsibility of all owners.
Caya Costa State Park is a private facility. The ferry fee of $35 includes the cost of entrance to the park. For those traveling to this recreational area by private boat, a fee of $2 per person is required. Camping facilities and cabin rentals are available by reservation. The cost for these rentals is not known.
