You and your pup do not have to stay cooped up in the house all day when there is a lovely park close by. Why not get some fresh air at Cloverly Park in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? Fido will be very happy indeed. Located in the Germantown community of the city, parking is easily found on the adjacent side streets or why not get a bit more exercise in today and walk over if you are nearby!
Cloverly Park covers 2.5 acres and is dedicated as a passive recreational park. Originally part of the Clark estate, you will still find the wrought iron columns at the entrance to this lovely park marked with the initial ‘C’. The park is entirely landscaped and meticulously maintained with paved walking paths throughout. Fido will love taking a stroll here and seeing the over 100-year-old trees fill the space with beauty. Park benches are strategically located to optimize the park’s magnificent views of nature and to offer a respite from the hot summer sun. Fall is a great time to visit and let them take a roll in the crisp, fallen leaves that blanket the earth during that time of year.
The other amenity offered to residents and visitors alike is a spectacular playground where children get to just be kids. Take a few minutes to pause from your stroll and watch the fun! There are no restrooms nor drinking fountains in this park, so it is best to plan accordingly. Bring plenty of bottled water for you and your pawtastic pup to share. Always have clean up bags on hand too, and help keep this lovely park pristine.
Get out of the house today and check out Cloverly Park. Don’t forget the camera to capture memories of your furry friend here.
