If your pup has a ruff life, you should take him to the Community Bark West Dog Park for some fun. This six-acre park lets dogs run off-leash and has a separate space for smaller dogs, so they feel safe. The dog park is packed with amenities for both you and your four-legged friend.Â
There are covered shelters to keep you out of the sun on hot days, and there are water fountains for both you and your dog to keep everyone hydrated. Your pup can enjoy playing with other dogs on the luscious green grass, or you two can enjoy exploring the park on one of the walking paths together. At this park, your dog will not run out of things to sniff, and he'll have so much fun following his nose.Â
The Community Bark West Dog Park provides doggie poop bags and garbage pails for easy disposal, so you need to remember to clean up after your dog. The size of this park might make you relocate your seat to keep an eye on your pup, but it is so beautiful that you probably will not mind at all.
Make sure your dog wears his collar and stays on-leash until he is inside the Community Bark West Dog Park. Handlers must be 16 or older, dogs must listen to their owner and not be aggressive, and dogs cannot be in heat at the park. To join Community Bark West, you must fill out an application and pay an annual fee.Â
The fee schedule runs from July 1-June 30 each year, and the 2017-2018 posted rates for one dog: $60 for a resident, $138 for a non-resident. For an additional dog: $35 for a resident, $75 for a non-resident. You have to fill out a separate application for each dog you wish to register with the park.Â
These fees can give you the security that the dogs who visit the park are all vaccinated, go through a health screening, and are licensed dogs. All visitors must also wear their dog park pass. The Community Bark West Dog Park is also closed for maintenance twice a week, so you know the park is being well taken care of.
