Winding through this park are some pathways that are a must to add to your morning walk with Fido. These multi-use pathways meander through trees and other park features, and are used by joggers, bikers, and other dog walkers of course. The Foot Branch Trail circles around a pond, where you can feed the ducks in the summer or enjoy some ice skating in the winter. Some other scenic features include the hexagonal gazebos that stand on the bluff and offer expansive views of the bay.Â
Some of the other features in this family friendly park include tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, and a field house. While pooches aren't allowed on the athletic fields, they are welcome to cheer along with you from the sidelines, or sniff and play on the other open grassy areas. If you plan on sticking around for a while, you can bring a lunch to eat at the picnic area with your best pal. Don't forget the dog biscuits! Due to the nearby trendy restaurants on Bell Boulevard, Crocheron Park is a popular lunch spot.Â
Pups are welcome to join their humans in this park, as long as a couple ground rules are followed. Dogs need to stay on a leash no more than 6 feet long, and be picked up after at all times. Please be sure your curious canine stays respectful to all, including the wildlife.Â
With all the furtastic features to be found here, Crocheron Park is sure to put a wag in your dog's tail!Â
