Each of the four areas at Doggie Days Dog Park benefits from the park's beautiful landscaping and views of the lake shimmering in the background. All of the off-leash areas have ample grass to cushion your dog's paws. Each area also has the necessary amenities, including secure double-gated entrances, leash hooks, trash cans, waste bag dispensers, water fountains, and benches for human comfort. Mature trees provide shade throughout the park.

Dog park rules include bringing no more than three dogs per person, not bringing female dogs in heat or puppies under four months of age, and being ready to intervene if your dog misbehaves. You should only bring your dog if they are healthy, vaccinated, responsive to your commands, and not dangerous to other people or dogs.

For a change of pace, there's a great paved walkway by the lake where you can take your dog for a leashed walk before or after playing in the off-leash area. There are docks, pavilions, and shady groves to explore. Many species of wading, water, and shore birds are frequent visitors to the park.
