Don White Memorial Park

The Don White Memorial Park is a furtastic place to spend some time in nature within Roswell with your four-legged friend. This neighborhood park is located along the scenic Chattahoochee River, just off of Riverside Road. People and pups like to come to this park to enjoy some fresh air and exercise, or a family outing near the river. 

This park has all the amenities you could need, including plenty of free, off-road parking. There are restrooms available as well. 

Probably your doggo's favorite part of this park will be the Roswell Riverwalk. This 2.2 mile out and back trail has paved portions near Riverside Road and through the woods, with some natural surface sections right up on the banks of the Chattahoochee. The trail is well maintained by the City of Roswell, and features some bridges over creeks and benches where you can kick back and enjoy the greenery. It's an easy trail that welcomes humans and canines of all fitness levels. It's popular among joggers, parents with strollers, and dog walkers too of course. 

There are plenty of other ways to enjoy the river here, such as fishing from the docks, or getting right into the river on a canoe, kayak, or inner tube. Don't forget to bring the doggy life jacket! It's the pawfect way to beat the dog days of summer. Some of the other features in this park include outdoor fitness equipment, volleyball courts, and picnic areas. The picnic areas have pavilions and grills that create an excellent location to host gatherings with friends and family. 

Doggos are more than welcome to enjoy this park with their favorite humans, as long as some ground rules are followed. You can do your part in keeping this park clean and safe by making sure your pal stays leashed, picked up after, and respectful to others at all times. Bring clean-up bags, and water to share with your thirsty pup!
