Earthdog Denver is a dog daycare center and canine resort in the city of Denver in Colorado. The establishment avails of a good-sized parking lot which is adjacent. Pet owners wishing to use the facility's services are required to pre-book and pay a fee.
Pet owners can leave their dogs in the care of the staff at Earthdog Denver for a full or half day. The cost of a full day's stay is $30 and for half a day, $20. Discounted packages are available for longer durations or for leaving more than one dogs. There is an extra $2 charge for dogs to use the pool which is only open during the summer months. Earthdog Denver has several outdoor sections where dogs are exercised off-leash.
The large dog area incorporates a rocky mountain for the dogs to climb as well as several shelters and other pieces of equipment. The small dog area has tunnels and rocks for dogs to explore. There is a large swimming pool with a waterfall used exclusively for the dogs to swim in. All outdoor zones are securely fenced with eight-foot fencing and surfaced with either concrete or sand.
Dogs using the facility are expected to have good social behavior and are encouraged to act in a pack manner when in the off-leash exercising with other dogs. The dog park opens to the public on the second Saturday of each month from midday until two in the afternoon, when for a $5 admission fee, dogs can use the park facilities accompanied by their owner.
Each third Saturday of every month there is a small dog meetup, for the same price and at the same times, to allow smaller breeds the opportunity to socialize. Every fourth Saturday of the month there is a get together for French bulldogs with the same respective cost and timing. The facility can also be hired exclusively by the hour for a fee of $75 for celebrating dog's birthdays.
