Eastwick Park

You don’t have to leave the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to find a large outdoor space for you and your furry friend to enjoy every day. You can head to Eastwick Park, also known as Suffolk Park, and take some time to get in a bit of nature in your day.

Located in the Southwestern portion of the city, there is plenty of parking to be had. Choose from either the on-site parking lot or grab a spot on the adjacent side streets. Either one will allow you direct access to this magnificent park.

With over 11 acres to explore, you better get an early start! There are dedicated walking and jogging paths where your puptastic pup will enjoy taking a stroll. They are paved and easily enjoyed by any fitness-level pup. Take a break from your walk on the provided benches to fully take in the beauty of this park. Open, green spaces offer you plenty of places to roam if your pup prefers to go ‘off-road!’ Find a spot to lay a blanket under the shade of the mature trees which Fido will greatly appreciate if you visit during the warmer months.

The park’s other amenities include a number of sports fields and courts where you might just find a game in progress. Take a short break from your walk to catch all the action. A kiddie playground is provided for the area’s youth to burn off some steam. You will find restrooms and seasonally-operated drinking fountains on site, so all you will need to remember is to bring Fido’s leash, which must always remain clipped to their collar. Mutt mitts are the perfect way to keep this a pup-friendly location.
