This dog park has been somewhat popular since it opened, giving all types of dogs the chance to come and play, but some owners claim that this park is not suited for their pup. 

Sometimes, dogs are known to growl at others, so be aware of this before you bring your dog to this park. At the Edgewater Dog Park, your dog will have the freedom to explore on their terms with their new furry pals as this park is entirely off-leash and fenced-in. 

You will also find a large area for dogs to play that is separated into two different areas for large dogs and small dogs. Dogs will have complimentary water from the water hose to utilize as well as water bowls, and humans will be provided with waste bags to clean up after their pups. Outside of the Edgewater Dog Park, you will find a restroom and playground that is nearby. 

The Edgewater Dog Park truly has everything you could ever need. Humans and dogs must follow the rules and regulations that are implemented by the area before they can come to this park. Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and tagged before they can come to the Edgewater Dog Park, and all female pups in heat and young puppies under four months old must stay at home. 

Dogs should also be well-mannered before they come to this park as this park does not allow any aggressive behavior, and owners should keep a leash on-hand for emergency situations.
