The park was developed in the early 1900’s to offer this working-class neighborhood a dedicated place where residents can gather, socialize and be outdoors. Today, it continues as such, with one magnificent addition. There are six paved paths which extend across the park and meet in the middle where The Labor Monument has been built as a commemoration to the community’s workers, past and present. Any fitness-level or age pup will love exploring a different path each time you visit, with plenty of grassy areas within the entire park to romp on as well. Be sure to take advantage of the many park benches to offer your furry friend a bit of a break in the activity, especially in the warmer months.

There are restrooms and drinking fountains on site, so all you will need is to bring their leash, which must always be kept on them during your visit, and perhaps a drinking bowl for your pup's convenience. Clean up mitts will ensure this park remains furever pup-friendly.
