Foglietta Plaza

If you don’t have a lot of extra time on hand today, but your furry friend needs a bit of an outdoor break, then why not head to Foglieta Plaza in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? It is the perfect spot to take in a bit of fresh air and offer Fido some exercise. You will find this lovely park in the Society Hill section of town. Parking is easily accessed on either the side streets which lie adjacent to Foglieta Plaza or find a spot in a nearby parking garage. Grab your pup and their leash and take off!

With over 2 acres of land to explore, you will certainly not be bored. The city has always offered this open space to residents as a place to reconnect with nature, but more recently has decided to make this a bit more dedicated location by featuring different sections to enjoy. You can still take your pup on a lovely walk along the paved paths which meander throughout. They will love the shade of the trees and the cool concrete under their paws. There is plenty of green grass for them to roll as well. 

Additions to the park presently and in the future include a sculpture garden, memorial plaza, and lovely fountains which offer a place to sit with your furry friend and cool off as the breezes hit the rushing water and blow the mist into the park. Remember to take some time to relax on the many benches throughout which are placed to maximize your views and enjoyment of the land. There are no restrooms but drinking fountains are provided. A leash is mandatory at all times, and cleaning up after them with your own bags is required.
