To keep Fido well-hydrated at all times, this park offers drinking fountains suitable for use by owners and their dogs. There are also benches for relaxation for owners while supervising their dogs at play as well as tennis balls provided in the two fenced play areas to help enrich Fido's fun time with his pals.Â
This park is accessible to the public free of charge. Park officials require that all dogs attending Jeffery Fontana Dog Park be in the presence of their owners at all times. While the runs are off-leash, it is mandated that dogs remain on the lead when traveling to and from the runs.
Park officials require that there be no more than two dogs per adult per visit. Children are welcome to visit when accompanied by a parent or suitable adult guardian. Poop bags and pooper scoopers are provided on site for use by all dog owners in the removal and disposal of their pet's waste, and owners are reminded that their participation in this initiative is required to keep the park clean and safe for all.Â
Any dogs displaying socially inappropriate or aggressive behavior will be asked to vacate the premises. Likewise, owners with female dogs in heat are asked to refrain from using the park facilities until their dog is out of season. All dogs visiting the park are required to be current on all vaccinations and bear proof of state licensing via the appropriate dog tags for that year.Â
This park does observe winter and summer hours. It is open from 7 am until 7 pm during the winter months with the dog facility remaining open until 8:45 pm during the summer season. The family-centric portion of Jeffery Fontana Park also offers picnic areas, exercise equipment, and walking paths for the whole family to enjoy.
For a fun day at a great park, consider bringing the whole family to Jeffery Fontana Dog Park.Â
