Bill Goodspeed Happy Tails Dog Park boasts of two fully fenced enclosures suitable for off-leash play. Park officials have reserved one fenced play space for the exclusive use of small dogs. Off-leash play is encouraged at this favorite dog haven. However, dogs are required to remain on a lead when traveling to and from the enclosures as well as in other areas of the park. Owners are mandated to provide attentive supervision to their dogs at all times and should keep a leash with them in case of emergencies.
The dog play areas are illuminated by solar lighting, allowing dogs to enjoy an invigorating run or game of fetch during the nighttime hours as well. Also provided on site are benches in shaded areas where owners can relax and enjoy their dogs having fun in the play areas.
Fresh drinking water is available for all dogs as well as jugs to transfer water from the fountain into dog bowls. Bowls are not provided; owners are asked to bring their own with them. Poop bags are available on the premises. Owners are asked to promptly pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials to help preserve the integrity of the park.
Though no official rules govern the use of this public space, it is advisable for all dogs to be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is wise for dogs to bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collar. Do you think Fido could benefit from burning off some steam?
