The Happy Tails Dog Park is a designated area for the off-leash exercising of dogs and is located in Ponce Inlet, Florida. Vehicle parking is restricted, but can be found on the streets of the surrounding neighbourhood. The park is a shady quarter of an acre of parkland which is in use as an off-leash dog park.
There are a substantial amount of both young and mature trees inside the off-leash area and also around its border which provide excellent shade. There is a separate section cordoned off for small breed dogs which is also well wooded. Dogs must be kept leashed until fully inside the off-leash areas. Both off-leash areas are surfaced with a combination of natural grass, sand, dirt and leaves. The perimeter fence is made from chain-link and stands at about waist height.
