Higgs Beach Dog Park is a rather large size park and has two separate fenced in dog areas that offer shade, water, grass, and plenty of room for dogs to frolic and play. Higgs Dog Park also has plenty of benches for you to sit and relax as you watch your pet enjoy the park. The two fenced-in areas are designated for large dogs and smaller dogs. This off-leash park features nice grassy areas for your pets to play in or relax in the shade on those hot Florida summer days.

The rules of the park state that dogs should be friendly, and have their license and vaccinations. Dog owners must be with their dogs at all and should clean up after them. When dogs are not in the fenced-in area they should be leashed. Dogs are welcomed across the street on the beach or pier as long as they are leashed.
