Parking and the main park entrance can normally be found on the westernmost side of the park on Randolph Avenue, but High Bridge is under construction until Spring 2019, and until then, you will need to find alternative parking. Pet-parents will need to access the park from Washington Avenue, and parking can be found on Spring Street. Some portions of the dog may also be temporarily closed until the construction is finished.
High Bridge Dog Park has two separate fenced-off areas, one for small breeds and another for the big guys. This provides pups of all shapes and sizes a safe place to play. The surface in the large dog area is mostly made up of wood mulch, and some natural areas with grass and brush. Your pal will love scampering through the brush like a wild dog! The small dog area features more grassy area and newly planted shade trees. Some sections of the park can get muddy, so you may want to bring a towel if there's been a recent rainfall.
The park doesn't have any running water, so be sure to bring your own. There are metal water bowls provided. In the large dog area, there is a mailbox with information and doggy waste bags. A porta-potty can be found at the large dog area entrance. Don't forget your pal's favorite ball for some fetch! Pups need to be picked up after at all times, and leashed when entering and exiting the dog park.
High Bridge Dog Park is a woofderful place to spend some quality time with your best pal.
