Access to this park is free of charge. Unfortunately, there are no bathroom facilities on the premises for public use. While there is a water spigot on site, it requires the use of a special key to unlock. For this reason, owners should carry a bottle of water and a suitable drinking vessel with them to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his day at the park. Benches are provided in shaded areas to allow owners a place to relax while observing their dogs at play.
Poop bags are not available at this dedicated dog facility. New York state by-laws mandate that all owners carry bags with them to pick up and properly dispose of their dog's waste materials in a prompt fashion. In accordance with New York state legislation, all dogs making use of public spaces must be current on vaccinations and city licensing. Proof of said paperwork must be carried by the owner at all times. Failure to produce the required documentation upon request results in a fine.
Visitors to this public space rave about its cleanliness. Though the dog run surfaces are gravel and somewhat small, they are lengthy enough to provide sufficient space for a good run. For a fun day at the dog park, bring Fido to Highbridge Dog Park!
