Holme Crispin Park

If you are looking for a spectacular place to take your pup for an outdoor adventure in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, take some time to check out Holme Crispin Park. Have fun with your furry friend and get out of the house and into a bit of nature at this lovely locale. You will find the park located in Northeast Philadelphia encompassing 31 acres. Plenty of on-street parking is easily found on the adjoining side roads. 

Named after the famous surveyors of William Penn, this park is well over 300 years and still going strong. It offers residents and community members a place to congregate and enjoy some outdoor time together. The first order of business when you arrive is to take your furry friend for a walk. A great place to head to is the walking trail which runs through the park and across Wooden Bridge Run. This waterway then connects to Pennypack Creek and gives you plenty of selfie spots to take a memory of your day. 

Other park amenities include sports fields for adults and youth and a fabulous kiddie playground. The entire park is wheelchair accessible and features many paved walkways throughout which are also stroller and pup-friendly. They are also puptastic for any pup-fitness level. Be sure to relax on the park benches to give your pawtastic pup a breather too! Restrooms and drinking fountains are on site so all you will need is their water bowl.
