Hubbard Park Off Leash Dog Area

Hubbard Park Off-Leash Dog Area is an exceptional dog park with just a few drawbacks. This is not a fenced dog park; this means any canine without a reliable recall or a canine that likes to run could easily make it a long distance. This also means that the park is co-mingled. 

Large and small dogs share the same space, this could put small dogs, toy breeds, and puppies at a higher risk of injury. This park has some unique attractions. There are a small pond and several walking paths through the park. A majority of the area this park takes up is a forest biome. 

There is a pond at this location for canines that like to run and play in the water. Your canine is allowed off-leash in and around the pond here. There is a small metal tower adjacent to the pond, and you and your canine can utilize this tower for some fantastic views. 

Several beautiful trails run through the woods, your canine is allowed off-leash throughout these trails, but they are shared with joggers and bikers so a well-trained canine would be required. The several forest trails that have beautiful high canopies and produce a great amount of shade for the patrons of the park.

There is plenty of room in these fields to play some long-range games like fetch or frisbee. Your canine is sure to leave worn out. For canines that have a strong and reliable recall, this park is an exceptional place to visit. The open area and adjacent forest make this park a place you should worry about bringing a canine off leash without proper training.
