Iron Horse Dog Park

The Iron Horse Dog Park in Minnesota features a large off-leash area for Scruffy to play. Dog owners with kids will love this place because there's a playground with a spectacular jungle gym and excellent play structure near the park. So the kiddos can let loose too. Park visitors can also watch a local soccer game in a nearby field. Or check out the basketball courts, volleyball courts, and more. 

The recreational park even has lights at night, so after visiting the dog park, Scruffy might want to explore this 23-acre surrounding park on-leash. And take advantage of the winding walking paths where Scruffy can discover more. Scruffy can also chill at the doggy water fountain and play with the pebbled turf. 

Keep in mind; the park is in Minnesota, so it’s closed in the frigid winter and transforms into a skating rink!. So it's probably best to take Scruffy here during the beautiful Minnesota summers, falls, and springs - unless Scruffy has a pair of ice skates.

The grass in this fenced-in dog park is well maintained, and Scruffy can escape from the sun by resting underneath one of the few trees in this park. Scruffy can also dig up some dirt and roll in the grass as dog owners observe the clear sky above.

Scruffy will enjoy playing with dogs of the same size because there are two separate spaces for large and small dogs. Be aware that the large dog area floods occasionally and gets muddy, so bring the waterproof boots if heading to the park in the rain!
