Ithaca Dog Park (near Allan H. Treman Marina)

The Ithaca Dog Park area near Allan H. Treman Marina is located on the Festival Lands. It is free to use the dog park area; however, a donation to Tompkins County Dog Owners Group (TCDOG) is welcome to help upkeep the park. This park is 4.8 acres and is fenced to help prevent dogs from running too far away. 

This beautiful dog park has a variety of things that will keep your dog busy and entertained. First, the large area allows your dogs to run around off-leash as much as they like. As a pet parent, you can play a great game of fetch, even on busy days because there is lots much room. There is also play equipment for the dogs and a wading pool to keep them cool during the summer months. 

Pet parents can stay cool at the umbrella covered picnic table near the wading pool and watch their dog play. The Ithaca Dog Park provides water fountains and a community drinking bowl for your dog. However, you can always bring along a dog bowl and give your dog water separately away from the others. 

The first thing most dog owners notice when visiting this park is that it is very clean. The TCDOG provides regular cleaning of the park and composting. The dog park rules require all pet parents to clean up after their dog. The park makes this process easy by providing doggie poop bags. 

Your dogs need to have their vaccination and license tags on their collar when visiting the Ithaca Dog Park near Allan H. Treman Marina. The park has a mandatory rule that all dogs must be vaccinated to help prevent canine diseases from spreading to others.
