Jean & Carl Frank Canine Park

Located in the Rochester area, you will find the fabulous Jean & Carl Frank Canine Park. This off leash dog park is a pawtastic place to take your dog for some afternoon fun, exercise, and prime pup socialization. 

This dog playground is right in the middle of a forest of trees, so you and your pup can truly feel away from it all. And with so much to explore, your pup will never be bored here! First of all , there's a standard type of fenced in enclosure that features separate areas for small and large dogs. In these sections, dogs can run off leash freely in a mowed grass area. In the large dog area, there's an agility course for the sportier pups. Both areas have lots of room for romping. There's a picnic table on the small dog side, while the larger one also boasts a covered shelter. Bring your own water and a bowl to keep your dog hydrated, and clean-up bags, and always pick up after your pup.

If you've got a more adventurous canine on your hands, then the rest of the dog park was made for them! Right outside the fully fenced in sections next to the parking area, you'll see the fences continue off into the trees. Here you'll find trails and lots of space to run and romp in utter abandon. Willow Creek flows alongside the area on the west side, providing a natural boundary and a place for your pup to splash in. While this section is fenced some of the way, there are two sections on either side where the creek meets the dog area that isn't fenced, as well as the creek boundary itself, so do be aware and keep your dog in sight and under voice control. 

Before coming to this furbulous dog park, make sure your dog is fully vaccinated and licensed, and shows tags prominently on their collar. Due to the untamed nature of part of the park, it is also a good idea to ensure your dog has parasite protection as well.
