Kaiser Park

Kaiser Park is nestled into the northwest corner of Coney Island, in Brooklyn, New York. Named after Leon S. Kaiser, a dedicated Brooklyn and Manhattan teacher and principal, this community park is over 26 acres along Coney Island Creek and has something in it for everyone in the family, including the family dog. Here everyone is welcome to enjoy some solace from the city surrounded by greenery, with a cool breeze coming off the bay. 

Possibly your dogs favorite part of the park will be the off-leash dog area! This fenced off area allows a safe place for your doggo to enjoy some glorious off-leash freedom and make furry friends. This kind of stimulation is sure to do your dog's physical and mental health some good! After all the fetch and rough-housing, you're guaranteed have a tuckered out pup at the end of the day. Please keep an eye on Fido to make sure he plays kindly with all, and that he stay leashed while not within the fenced-off area. 

Another main highlight of this park is the view over the water. You and your best pal can take a stroll along the sand, where they can cool their paws in the creek. The fishing pier is a great location to cast a line, or simply enjoy the views of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Bring your binoculars, because this is one of the best locations to watch the myriads of bird species migrate through the area in spring and autumn. 

Some of the other furtastic features in this park include playgrounds, a variety of well-maintained athletic fields and a running track. There are picnic areas and barbecues, ideal for hosting gatherings with family and friends.
