Karban Dog Park

The Karban Dog Park is part of the larger Berwyn Park District in Illinois. Here, Sparky can enjoy a private dog park for Berwyn residents but need to pay a small fee. Dog owners can obtain a permit at the nearby Freedom Park. Visitors will enjoy the benches for relaxation and water fountains for humans and their pooches. 

Sparky will appreciate the separate doggy spaces for large and small canines and the fact that dogs can roam around freely. Visitors can even stand under the shady trees during those hot summer days. This park offers Sparky a great place to fetch, meet other furry friends, and roll around in the dirt and grass. 

It’s the first off-leash dog park in the park system, and the city does a great job maintaining the lawn and cleaning up the park. Plus, visitors won't find any escape routes for their fur baby because the fence is always kept up to par. Dog owners will be happy that there are poop bags available, so remember to clean up after Sparky. 

This park adds a nice touch by letting dog owners buy bricks to commemorate their canines that are featured in the entryway to the park. “Ajax is still in charge here!” Is an example of a clever personalized message on a brick that visitors will see. In the warmer months, Sparky will love splashing around in one of the kiddy pools after exercising. 

Sparky will also get busy on the dirt patch in the park and dig away - just make sure to fill the holes in afterward. To obtain a permit for this excellent private park, dog owners need proof of Sparky’s vaccinations and license. Dogs also have to have a friendly temperament to enter the park.
