Has your pooch been lying around the house all day? Then grab the leash and head over to Kay Park. Nestled in the Germantown neighborhood, this park may be small but it’s definitely worth a visit. Your doggo will love trotting around this pawsome little green space!
Kay Park doesn’t have the amenities of Philadelphia's larger more
pupular parks. In fact, it may be tempting to pass right by this
little park. But, this hidden gem is the pawfect place to let your pooch put
their sniffer to work. Roam around the grass area so they can check out all the
smells this park has to offer. There is also a well worn path you and your
pooch can follow.
Your pup may wonder what makes this park so doggone special. The answer is- all the furrific trees! This place is full of them! During the warmer months, a dozen or so mature shade trees provide ample shade for visitors. Find the pawfect spot to chillax  with doggo on a lovely summer afternoon. Or, if you happen to visit during autumn, your pup can run through the colorful fall leaves.
While your furry friend will have a blast discovering all the
sights and smells of Kay Park, they probably won’t be tuckered out when they leave. If your doggo still has energy to burn, head over to Fernhill Park which features wide
open grass fields, sport courts, ball fields, and pawsome walking trails that will make your dog’s tail wag.
No matter where you and your pup wander, be sure to have
some clean up bags on hand and ready to go. Also, it’s a good idea to carry
some water. Your pooch is bound to get thirsty during their park adventure.
Make no mistake, your pup will go mutts over Kay Park!
