Kingsland Point Dog Park is a paid dog park located in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The scenic 18-acre Kingsland Point Park that the dog park is located in was built by the Hudson River in 1926 and features playgrounds, ballfields, and fishing in addition to the dog park. However, to enjoy the off-leash dog run residents need to obtain an annual pass that costs $25 (parking fees included) which is available at the Village of Sleepy Hollow town hall. Considering the park’s amenities and beautiful views of the historic Tarrytown Lighthouse, this popular park is definitely worth having access to.
The dog park is clean and very well-maintained. It is equipped with everything a pet owner would want in a dog park. It has a simple layout, consisting of a single spacious area that is securely fenced and provides a safe space for dogs of all breeds and sizes to run off-leash in. There are a lot of mature trees that provide plenty of shade and picnic tables for owners to sit back and relax on while they watch their dogs.
The dog park is equipped with water stations for dogs, trash cans, and dog waste bag dispensers so please make sure to tidy up after your dog and remain respectful of the park’s rules. The restrooms are located right next to the dog run. In addition to the above, this cozy 0.5-acre dog park has beautiful views of the Hudson River, Tappan Zee bridge, and the Tarrytown Lighthouse.
With free parking that is only 100 feet away from the off-leash area, this beautiful dog park is conveniently located and easily accessible. It is a great place to spend a sunny day with the entire family as it is close to picnic areas, sports fields, and hiking trails that your canine buddy can join you on as long as he is leashed.
