Kingsman Dog Park

Just east of downtown Washington, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, you can find a real treat for you and your pal! The Kingsman Dog Park is located right next to Lincoln Field Park. Some parks in this area used to be used by locals as unofficial dog parks, but now there is a safe place in the neighborhood for pups to frolic and play off-leash. It's a great place for your pal to enjoy some exercise and pawsitive socialization! 

This park has everything it needs to be a safe haven, including double gated fences. Pups of all shapes and sizes are welcome, as there are two separate fenced off areas, one for big dogs and another for the little guys. The dog park is spacious enough to run full tilt, and busy enough to almost guarantee meeting more furry friends. The surface in the dog park is made up of soft gravel which can form puddles after a rain. If your pal is longing for the feel of grass under his toes, dogs are also allowed to play on the adjacent baseball diamond, as long as they stay leashed and here are no games in play. 

There are two doggy water fountains in Kingsman Dog Park, one in each fenced off section. They are turned off during seasonally during the winter, so don't forget to bring a water bottle for your parched pup during those months! There are waste bag dispensers as well, but some reviewers have mentioned they aren't always restocked. It may be a good idea to bring your own, just in case.

Kingsman Dog Park welcomes all doggos to come and play, as long as a couple ground rules are followed. Please keep your pupper leashed when not within the fenced in areas, and picked up after. Always keep an eye on your pal that they stay respectful to others.
