Kingston Point Dog Park offers several fully fenced enclosures to allow for off lead dog play. One area is designated for use by small dogs only to help encourage appropriate socialization and prevent injury. Owner supervision is required at all times. Benches are provided in shaded areas for owners to relax while observing their dog's fun time in the park.
Though the dog runs themselves permit dogs to be off lead, dogs must remain leashed in all other areas of the property including the nearby hiking trails. Though this facility leads to a beachfront shoreline, dogs are strictly prohibited from accessing the beach. It is unknown if there are bathrooms on the premises or if drinking water is provided on-site. To ensure Fido remains well hydrated, owners are encouraged to bring a bottle of water and an appropriate drinking vessel with them.
It is also unknown if poop bags are provided. However, it is mandatory for all owners to pick up and properly dispose of their dog's waste materials to help preserve the cleanliness of this pristine park. This lovingly designed, dedicated dog space is free of charge to the public. Though there is no fee to enter this dog friendly facility, park officials do ask that owners register their dogs prior to entering the space.
All dogs making use of this facility must wear a collar which bears the appropriate state required license tag. In addition to this, dogs must be current on vaccinations. Children under age 12 are not permitted within the off leash dog areas. Food is also strictly prohibited. Dogs are expected to remain well-behaved during their visit to the park. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior will be asked to vacate the premises. For a great day of burning off excess energy at the park, bring Fido to Kingston Point Dog Park!
