Lake Bronson State Park

Lake Bronson State Park is located in Lake Bronson, Minnesota. This recreational area and camping facility is a destination hotspot for vacationing families. The on-premise 300-acre lake provides the ideal spot for swimming and other water sports, and the grounds also house the largest water tower in the Minnesota region which also functions as an observatory. 

Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the premises but must remain on a lead at all times. At this time, there is not a designated play area for dogs nor is any drinking water provided. To ensure Fido has access to a cool drink when needed, owners should bring bottled water and a dog dish with them from home. 

It is important for all owners to note that park officials expect them to assume all responsibility for canine waste removal. Lake Bronson State Park is a public recreational area and campground, and entrance to the state park itself is free of charge. However, a parking permit is required to access the grounds and costs $35 for a yearly pass. 

This much-loved park and camping facility offers many great recreational opportunities for families to enjoy. Among the outdoor activities available are a playground, cross-country skiing, camping, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. Campsites are available by reservation only, and it is not known what the associated costs are. 

There is also an on-premise visitor's center, bathrooms, and a shop renting kayaks and canoes. The land itself is mostly comprised of prairie flatland and is also home to various types of plant and animal life. True nature lovers can enjoy viewing a wide variety of species in their natural habitat. 

While fire pits are found on each campsite, only approved firewood is allowed on the grounds. Lake Bronson State Park supports all Minnesota state law, and as such, it is required that all canine visitors be current on vaccinations and licensed with their city.
