Lakeview Paw Park

The Lakeview Paw Park is a fun place for your pup to visit to get some fresh air and stretch his legs. The fenced-in park has a section for small dogs (under 20 pounds) and a section for larger dogs (over 20 pounds). The entry for both sections is double-gated for safety and your dog should be leashed until he is inside the dog park. There are plenty of trees for shade and your dog can leave important messages on them, too. 

The park is covered with grass, dirt, and cement. When it rains, the ground can become muddy, so you may need to wear waterproof sneakers or boots, or just stand on the cement to keep your shoes clean. There is a hose to clean off your dog after a long day of rolling on the ground and playing with other pups. 

The park also has water to keep Fido hydrated and doggie pools for him to splash in during the warmer weather. To keep you comfortable, you can use the picnic tables and benches, and bathrooms are just down the road. Make sure you watch your dog when he goes to the bathroom, and pick up after him with the bags you brought with you from home. 

Before coming to the park, make sure your dog is up to date on his vaccinations and wears his collar with his ID tag and rabies tag. He should also be social and if you're unsure of how he will react, take him to the park at a slow time. The park is usually busy in the morning before 9 a.m. and after work around 5 p.m. You can explore the rest of the Lakeview Park, just keep Fido on his leash. No matter where you are, make sure your pup can respond to your call and is obedient.
