Leesburg Dog Park is said to be a place where the grass is always green and the people are always nice. There are plenty of good doggos running around here too of course! This 3 acre dog park is a woofderful addition to the town of Leesburg, Florida, where local pet parents like to catch up while their fur babies romp around and make furry friends.
Leesburg Dog Park is located right across Silver Lake Drive from the actual Silver Lake. It's also in close proximity to the Leesburg International Airport, so you can watch airplanes flying right over head. Entrance is free, and there's a large parking lot where you can unload your puppers from the vehicle and let the fun begin. There are two separate fenced off areas, one for large dogs and one for our little buddies. Both have plenty of space to run full tilt. There are shade structures over the picnic tables, but the rest of the park doesn't have much solace from the sun. During the hot summer months, you may want to come to this park in the cooler mornings and evenings.
Some other furtastic features of this park include rinse stations, water stations, and doggie fire hydrants. If you happened to forget your pal's favorite ball, lots of people bring toys and there's almost always a few balls laying around. After a solid game of fetch and roughhousing with her new playmates, Fifi may need a nap on the way home.
Pet parents are asked to follow a few simple rules to help keep this dog park clean and safe for all to enjoy. Please keep your pal leashed outside of the park, and unleashed while inside the park. There are doggy waste bags available, so be sure to stoop and scoop.
Leesburg Dog Park will have your pup leaping for joy!
