Access to this public space is free of charge; however, donations are gratefully accepted to assist with the ongoing cost of park maintenance and improvements. Bathrooms are available on-site, and a potable water supply is also provided to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his fun time at the park. The park is also equipped with a message board, walking path, and shelter area in case of inclement weather. Benches are scattered throughout the park in shaded areas to provide respite from the hot summer sun. Owners can relax here while observing their dogs at play.
For those wishing to enjoy a meal on the grounds, picnic areas are set up for families to enjoy. The comfortable seating makes it conducive to sharing a snack or light lunch together. It is unknown if poop bags are provided on the premises. However, it is required by state law that all owners carry bags to pick up and properly dispose of any canine waste in a prompt fashion.
Though there are no officially posted rules regarding the use of this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is advisable for all dogs to bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars. For a great time at a great park, bring Fido and the family to Lewis and Clark Dog Park at Bacon Creek Park!
