Lilac Dog Park

The Lilac Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Palm Beach, Florida. This little piece of pooch paradise, which is reserved solely for the purpose of exercising dogs off-leash, is in the town's Lilac Park. There is a spacious parking lot right next to the dog park although pet parents need to walk a few yards around the corner from the lot to encounter the entrance. 

Keeping pups leashed until they're in the secure staging area is a must do as accidents happen in parking lots too. This dog park in Palm Beach is every bit as deluxe as the town it is located in. The staging areas for both compounds, the big dog's and the small dog one, lead onto paved patios which have been furnished with benches sheltered by enormous parasols. 

Would it be a dog park in Palm Beach without palm trees? Well, no it wouldn't. There are lots of palm trees in the dog runs which don't particularly provide much shade but do add that typical tropical Florida appeal. There are hilly mounds covered with grass for pups of all sizes to climb, buried tunnels and an abundance of agility apparatus for them to use. 

So much, in fact, pups are spoilt for choice on what piece of equipment to exercise with first. Dogs using the dog park in Palm Beach need to display the best side of their character. There are no unsocial pups permitted here. It is Palm Beach after all, and there is a certain standard to maintain. Keeping high standards also applies to the cleanliness of the park. 

There's never a stray poop in sight. Is that because there are well-stocked waste stations and plenty of trash bins? Or is it because pet parents in Palm Beach understand and respect the fact they need to scoop their pup's poop. Whatever the reason, there's definitely no slovenliness on dog park etiquette here.
