Lori Wilson Park is a 20-acre, ocean-front park is located in Brevard County. It's well known for it's beach dunes, maritime hammocks, and of course, it's off-leash dog area. Some pet parents have been mislead to believe there is also a dog beach here, but please keep in mind that dogs are only allowed in the dog park, and not throughout the rest of the park or beach. That being said, the rest of your family will love to enjoy the many family friendly features of this park, such as the nature boardwalk and playgrounds, while you hang out with Fido and watch the puppy playtimes.
The 32,000 square foot fenced dog park is located in the southern section of Lori Wilson Park. Here you'll find a large, free, parking lot. There are also restrooms that are conveniently located nearby. Once you enter the off-leash area and unhook your pal's leash, they'll be leaping for joy. The dog park provides a safe place for canines to enjoy some pawsitive socialization, roughhouse with some new furry friends, and blow off some energy with a good game of fetch. You're guaranteed a tuckered out pup at the end of the day!
The dog park is separated into two separate sections, one for large breeds and another for the little dudes. If you happened to forget your pup's favorite ball, you're sure to find some laying around within the park. On a hot day, your pupper can cool off in the bone shaped kiddie pool. The dog park can get a little muddy after a big rain, so you may want to bring some towels for your vehicle.
Doggos are more than welcome to play within the dog park, as long as some simple rules are followed. Please keep your pal leashed outside of the fenced area, and unleashed within the fenced area. Always pick up after your pup, and remove them at any signs of aggression. Bring water to drink, and clean-up bags.
The Lori Wilson Off-Leash Area will make for a day your and your best pal won't soon forget.
