Benches are provided throughout the park and in shaded areas to encourage respite from the hot summer sun as owners supervise their dogs at play. Water is also available on-site to help keep Fido hydrated during his play time. It is important to note that Louisville, Colorado, is one of several towns in this state that observe Breed Specific Legislation. Because of this, Pit Bull type dogs are not permitted at the park.Â
It is unknown if there are bathroom facilities at the site of this public park space. It is also not known if poop bags are available on the premises. To help preserve the park's cleanliness, owners are asked to carry bags with them and to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials.
Access to this public park is free of charge. Though there are no specific rules governing the use of this dedicated dog space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is wise for all dogs to bear the appropriate required state license tag.
While the enclosures are designated off leash areas for all dogs to enjoy, owners are asked to keep their dogs on lead when travelling to and from the dog play runs as well as in other areas of the park. During off leash play, owners should maintain constant supervision and have a lead with them at all times. For a fun time for the whole family, consider a visit to Louisville Community Dog Park!
