Manhattan Beach Dog Park

Manhattan Beach Dog Park is located in Brooklyn, New York, on the same property as Manhattan Beach. This lovely dog park observes the same municipal regulations as the city of Brooklyn, which includes all dogs being on a lead of no longer than 6 feet when not in a play space designated for off-leash play. The dog runs at this dedicated dog facility are small but kept exceptionally clean. There are two fully fenced enclosures with one designated exclusively for use by small dogs. 

Entrance to this dog play space is free of charge. Benches are provided in shaded areas for owners to relax and enjoy watching their dogs at play. There is also a plentiful supply of fresh water to help address Fido's hydration needs. It is not known if there are bathroom facilities on-site or at the nearby Manhattan Beach. 

Complimentary poop bags are available on the premises. The municipal legislation mandates that all owners assist park officials in maintaining the pristine integrity of the runs by picking up and properly disposing of all canine waste in the on-site trash receptacles. In addition to this, it is also required by law that all dogs be current on vaccinations including rabies. 

It is also advisable for dogs to bear the appropriate required state licensing tag on their collar. New York legislation mandates that all owners carry their proof of dog license and current rabies vaccination paperwork with them when out in a public space with their dog.

Though dogs are permitted in many public parks and beach areas including Manhattan Beach's boardwalk area when on lead, they are strictly prohibited from chasing wildlife or other animals at any time.
