No matter where you start off in the park, you'll find a long web of expansive trails that wind through the entire portion of the park, with nearly all parts of the trails covered in shade from trees lining the path. You'll also notice two baseball fields in the eastern half of the park, separated by a shaded path that encircles both fields.
Other features of the park include public restrooms along the northern half, and two different playgrounds for kids to play on the corners of the park. At the center of the park, there are two concrete plazas with sitting areas and scenic statues to look at. Throughout the park, there are nearly 16 different benches, picnic tables in the shade, trash bins, water fountains, and two clean-up stations for pooches in the central plazas of the park. The park can get pretty busy during the day and after school, so be sure to get some time in in the mornings or later evening if you want some time out with your pup alone.
There are only lights along the plaza areas of the park, so be careful if you're traveling at night. A visit to Marconi Plaza will be sure to make Fido's day!
