Nestled in the rear of the neighborhood, you will find it adjacent to a river, which creates a rather pleasant ambiance. Parking is rather limited, only leaving a few spaces available to park. However, the neighborhood is residential and street parking is acceptable nearby.
This park does have benches with structures to provide shade. Outside of the shade created by these structures, little shade can be found as there are very few trees or other shade providing vegetation at this park. Other amenities are available through to keep your canine well hydrated; there is a watering station in both sections of the park for your canine to hydrate. They also provide poop bags and wastebaskets for you to easily and conveniently clean up after your canine.
The year-round availability and lack of closures for maintenance mean that the grass at this park can be hit or miss and depending on the time of year, your dog could come to this park and leave with a bit of dirt on their fur. This is not to say that this park is not well maintained, as it is. This park remains clean throughout the year and the cities rules for canine parks are enforced by the local authorities.
Outside of the dog park, you will find a playground for children. It also hosts swingsets, basketball courts, and other attractions for the local residents. Restrooms are available with running water and these restrooms typically remain clean.
