Description
The Mike Roess Gold Head Brand State Park was established in 1935, and it sits in the gorgeous region of Florida. The Civilian Conservation Corps developed this park on 2,000 acres of land. Over time, this park has changed, but you can still see the beginning structure of this park. It was also one of the first five parks to be established in the Florida area.

When you come and visit the Mike Roess Gold Head Brand State Park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find picnic tables, picnic shelters, grills, a visitor center, hiking trails, biking trails, campgrounds, meeting rooms, equestrian trails, and availability for canoeing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, swimming, and all other recreational activities.

Dogs can also come to this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time here, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park officials. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.

All dogs and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to the Mike Roess Gold Head Brand State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the Mike Roess Gold Head Brand State Park.

If you wish to camp at the Mike Roess Gold Head Brand State Park, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's website or in the park's main office. If you are in the Florida area, make sure to come on over to check out Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park. You will have a fabulous time with your friends, your family, and your favorite pup.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
