Mount Kisco Bark Park is a gravel off-leash area where dogs can run around and play with each other freely, while the location is also being used as a soccer field on some occasions. The fenced-in property is an ideal place to exercise your pooch, as there is no mud for him to get dirty and the area is well-known for being kept in good conditions at all times.
The separate areas for large and small dogs offer plenty of space for pets to roam around and socialize with one another. The property is surrounded by tall trees, although there is little to no shade inside the park perimeter. On the other hand, Mount Kisco Bark Park provides plenty of benches for owners, as well as a water fountain which pups can take advantage of during the summer heat.
Furthermore, the park also offers a water fountain for the owners so that they can also enjoy their time without running the risk of getting dehydrated. Picking up after the dogs is greatly encouraged, given that this location has proven to be one of the cleanest dog parks in the White Plain area. As a result, all visitors are provided with waste bag dispensers and waste receptacles, in order to clean up after their pets and maintain the property in the best condition possible.
Owners are notified to do so by the park signage, as well as make sure they comply with all park guidelines, in other words – ensure their pets have a current license tag and are up to date on their vaccinations. At the same time, it’s important that all dogs respond well to their owner’s voice commands and are well-behaved, especially when approaching other dogs in the park.
Mount Kisco Bark Park is a great place for owners to exercise their pets, in a clean, gravel-ground location, away from the bustling city.
