Mulberry Dog Park

Mulberry Dog Park is located in the Villages region of Ocklawaha, Florida. One of four area off-leash dog parks, Mulberry Dog Park is situated in the Village of Springdale conveniently near to both the fitness trail and the community pool. Housed on the grounds are two fully fenced play sections designed with off-leash exercise and play in mind. 

Small, senior, and shy dogs may enjoy their very own enclosure where a more moderate style of play is adopted. Mulberry Dog Park officials take safety matters very seriously and have instituted some basic rules owners must abide by during their dogs' visit to the park. It is mandatory for all owners to stay within sight of their dogs to provide active supervision. 

In addition to this, a leash should be kept handy at all times. Florida state law prohibits dogs to be off their lead in any public area other than a designated off-leash zone. The Mulberry Dog Park is a private dog playground, but it is unknown if there is a fee to access the property. Those wishing to bring their dogs to enjoy the play areas must be in possession of a Villages Resident ID Card. 

Guests to the area must procure a guest pass and present photo identification. All of the Villages dog parks contain all of the amenities required for a day of fun. These include the following items: water, benches, scenic views, and poop bags. Owners have to pick up after their pets and properly dispose of their waste materials in the provided trash receptacles. 

Bathrooms are not available at this park location. Mulberry Dog Park has instituted a few rules visitors to this doggy play haven must observe. In accordance with Florida state legislation, all dogs must have current vaccinations and a city dog license. 

Proof of both must be evidenced via dog tags secured to each dog's collar. There are to be no more than three dogs per handler at the dog park at one time.
