Nassau Humane Society Dog Park
Entrance to the dog park is fee-based with all proceeds donated to the Nassau Humane Society and its animals. For your pup to pawrty on for the day, it will cost $10.50. Weekly passes are available for $26.25 with monthly passes costing $36.75. You can also purchase passes for a period of six months or one year. The cost of your remote pass key is included with the purchase of your permit.
This pawsome doggy playground boasts 1.3 acres which houses two fully fenced play areas for doggoes to enjoy. One of the runs is reserved for use by the littlest pupperonis, with the other designated for larger or more rambunctious puppers to enjoy. Off-leash play is what's on the menu at this furrific doggy play haven, but you will still need a leash for Fido when entering and exiting the play areas.
Among the wooftastic things Fido will find at Nassau Humane Society's Dog Park include a swimming pool, four dog wash stations, and agility equipment. Water is provided to help keep your doggo's thirst at bay, and there are also cleanup bags you can use to dispose of your pupper's waste. Benches are scattered throughout the runs where you can kick back and relax while your dog has some fun.
Visitors to this puptastic play space must observe a few rules. Physical proof of current vaccinations, which include bordetella, rabies, and distemper, must be furnished. All dogs must be spayed or neutered, and be wearing a flat buckle collar. No food, alcohol, cigarettes, or glass containers are permitted on the grounds.
