In the year of 2006, the Nott Road Dog Park was opened up for the community. If you want to use any of the sporting fields, you can rent them. If you would like to play at the dog park, you can pick up a permit from the city office. At the Nott Road Dog Park, you will find many amenities for enjoyment.Â
There is a large area that is fenced in for your dog's freedom as well as benches, shade, and water. It is simple and perfect for all dog breeds. When you come to the Nott Road Dog Park, you must follow all of the rules and regulations that are implemented by the city of Guilderland.Â
All dogs must first be tagged, licensed, and vaccinated before they can come to this park, and all female dogs in heat and young puppies under four months are to remain a home. All owners must keep an eye on their pups and clean up after them at all times, and each owner is only permitted to bring in two dogs at a time.Â
No food is permitted, and all dogs must be well-mannered before coming to this park. Kids ten years and under are also not allowed to come into the dog park, and children in between the ages of 10-17 must be accompanied by an owner. This dog park is clean, adventurous, and perfect for any visitor within the Guilderland community. If you have a chance, you should come and visit this park.Â
