Nunziato Field Dog Park

Nunziato Field Dog Park is located in a suburban section of Somerville, Massachusetts. This much-loved neighborhood park was designed with all of the amenities needed for dogs and their owners to enjoy a great day in a relaxed, outdoor setting. Housed on the grounds is a fully fenced play area. 

Here, dogs can enjoy running, wrestling, and roughhousing all without the need for a leash. Lined with gravel, the dog runs provide sufficient traction to prevent injury. It is not known if Nunziato Field Dog Park has a section reserved for small, senior, and shy dogs to enjoy. However, this dedicated dog facility welcomes dogs of all sizes and breeds to enjoy a day of fun in their play spaces. 

As a family-friendly recreational spot, Nunziato Field Dog Park encourages all visitors and their dogs to make use of their dog park by offering entrance to the grounds at no cost. Water and bathrooms are not available on the premises for public use. 

To ensure Fido has access to plenty of drinking water, it is best to bring water and a dog dish from home for his use. Poop bags are provided on-site, and it is the expectation of park officials that owners will make use of them to clean up after their dogs. 

With the comfort of all owners in mind, Nunziato Field Dog Park has installed benches in areas where there are bountiful shade trees. Owners may relax on the comfortable seating and enjoy watching Fido having fun with his favorite canine pals. Nunziato Field itself is home to a number of sporting events including football and soccer. 

Nunziato Field Dog Park bears the distinction of having been voted #3 out of #19 nominated dog parks for Boston City Voter's Best Dog Park award in 2016. There are no published rules regarding the use of Nunziato Field Dog Park.
