Within this park, you will find many different amenities that are stretched along the 37 acres of parkland. You will discover pavilions that provide shade for dogs and owners, a large grass area for play, benches for relaxation, a walking path for exploration, shaded playgrounds, an on-leash walking trail that exists outside of the off-leash area, and hydration areas where your dog can wash off before going home for the evening.
When you come to visit this beautiful park, you must follow the rules and regulations that the city of Fort Lauderdale wishes to enforce. All pups must first be vaccinated, tagged, and licensed before entering the dog park, and all young puppies and female dogs in heat must remain at home. Owners must clean up after their dog's mess, and they must also keep a watchful eye on their dogs while they are here.
Dogs do not need to be on a leash when they are in the off-leash area, but they must remain on-leash outside of the park as well as when they enter and exit the designated area. All pups must be well-behaved. Aggressive behavior is not allowed in this park. If your dog acts up, you will be held responsible for their behavior, so it is advised that you put your dog back on a leash immediately when they display aggressive behavior. Overall, this park is an excellent addition to the Fort Lauderdale community.
