Oakwood Dog Park - Morton

The Oakwood Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Morton, Illinois. This dog park is located in the city's seventeen-acre Oakwood Park which is dog-friendly as long as they're on a leash. The parking lot is close to the dog park entrance, so pups don't have to contain their excitement too long after getting out of the car before having some fun.

This dog park in Morton is like a woodland glade just for dogs. The thickets of trees are fenced so dogs shouldn't be able to escape, but if they try hard, as some canine escapologists do, they can get out. Big and small do not need to share here as they have both got their own amazing space to play in. 

The passing of the seasons adds extra appeal to this off-leash area. The trees make the dog park green and shady in summer. Everything a pet owner needs to do their duty is on-site. Yes, the duty in question is scooping poop. The Oakwood Dog Park in Morton may be in a wild woodland setting, but that doesn't mean ignoring poop is allowed. Failing to pick up a pet's poop can lead to being banned from the park, and that would be a regrettable shame for both pup and owner.
