The PEAR Dog Park is several large fenced in areas for canines of various sizes. Not only do they have separate enclosures for large and small canines, they have many separate enclosures that organize canines into several weight groups. The PEAR Dog Park has explicitly a small breed, toy dog, and puppy section as well as a section for large canines.Â
A third section at the PEAR Dog Park, by far the largest of the three, is meant for well-socialized canines who can behave in a co-mingled area. The areas are not massive in their own right, and the space is best used for socialization as opposed to exercising. Long range games like fetch or frisbee would be quite limited in areas like these.Â
That being said, there is enough room for your canine to romp and play with others, just not enough for an energetic canine to stretch their legs and wear themselves out. Many trees can be found inside the fenced areas of this dog park. These trees at the PEAR Dog Park provide a lot of shade for the patrons of the park and protect you from the suns rays on a hot summer day.Â
This park is not lit but stays open until 7 PM. During the shortest days of the year, this is after sunset, however much of the surrounding area is lit and that leaves most of the dog park basked in ambient light in the early evening. This park is a great place to bring your canine for some exercise and time to socialize with other canines, even if you can't pronounce the full name.
